Francois! YOU are my savior.

Thank you so much for this information. Can you tell me, WHERE can I get this testing done? Who would do this? Would your institute? or do you know of one in the U.S.? I need to have this done ASAP if we use fingernails and would be willing to donate biopsies or a tooth to prove exposure.

We can pay for the testing if you know where it could be done. I so greatly appreciate this response; you have given me hope.

Thank you again and I'm so glad to know there are kind people in nuclear professions.

Please feel free to contact me with any information, at any time. Email is the best way to reach me but my phone number is 370-371-0531.

Cam

Dear Cam,

Actually, we recently succeed to extend fingernails application even severals weeks after irradiation.

There is a severals methods of dosimetry that can be used for your purpose (identification of irradiated victim months or years after irradiation):

EPR spectrometry on tooth enamel (in vivo (X band) or ex vivo on biopsies (L band))

Biological dosimetry based on cytogenetic techniques (by counting chromosome aberration for example)

You will find a lot of publications on these differents techniques

Best Wishes
