Some things I noticed about this D.C. area...
The lingo:
"Am I right?"
"Cheers!"
(which is telling, because here everyone wants to be right, agreeable, and drunk. Oh I don't know...maybe British too. ;))
The food:
Buffalo wings, buffalo sauce, buffalo everything
Mentality:
Somewhat progressive in many regards, but somewhat backwards with racism
Much more conservative than I would have thought, in some regards--closes down early and on Sundays.
