This Guy At The Subway

I'm taking a quick break to write about this guy I met waiting at the Subway a week or two ago. He was so funny and fun to talk to! and it was rare night when I was feeling a little down.

I had my hair up in a ridiculous knot, with a pen through it, and it was sticking out, and had my photo taken with couple of nice guys, and then this guy, short and some Asian background, sat next to me. I cannot remember his name but I almost want to say Arthur or something. I can't remember.

I was cheered up instantly. We chatted and when I asked him what he did, he said he was a "dancer" which cracked me up. He then said he was sometimes at the Capitol and that he had founded a children's non-profit. He was sort of vague and I asked him what kind it was and he said for spinal and neural diseases. I had a great time talking with him and then we talked more on the train. He asked for my email address and I declined, because I thought he was interested in me romantically and I didn't want to give him the wrong idea. But later I wished I had, if he understood it was friends-only, because he made me laugh so much and he laughed at a few things I said too. I wasn't attracted to him at all, but it lifted my spirits.

He wouldn't give me any info after that though. I wanted to know the name of his non-profit so I could look it up sometime, as I'm impressed by anyone in this line of work, and thought maybe I could find a way to contact him later. He laughed and said no, he was worried, because then he might have a stalker on his hands. I laughed and looked at him, nodded yes, and said, "A bunny in a pot!" and then he had a huge grin on his face.

Anyway, had to make note of that night.
