TTSOML #210: Details About Bruce and Karine

If Bruce wasn't RCMP, or border patrol, he was some kind of agent undercover. I don't know what kind, but he did something, and if it was with a legal organization, it was probably with an illegal one. I tend to think he was undercover border patrol because he was always gone at night, and the excuse was that he was at the Casino. They lived right next to the Canadian Border and he could have been border patrol.

At any rate, when Bruce harassed me about giving him something, he was threatening, abusive, and I had to keep an even and calm tone. I also told him I'd pay him back later, and he said he didn't want to be paid back later. He tried so hard, I think he was trying to entrap me in something. Also, when I left I said if his daughters ever left the house, and wanted to get away, I'd give them a place to stay. He said that would never happen--they'd never want to get away.

I thought from the start, that Bruce was Italian. He looks Italian and his daughters look Italian, but he claimed he wasn't. Yet he talked like an Italian, and when he had his "brother" over to talk to me, when his brother was leaving, the two of them rolled their eyes about me and Bruce said, "Ciao" and then the other guy said "Ciao." I'd never heard him say that with anyone else.

I noticed one of them was always with their girls. They never had me babysit, even though they were pressuring me to take a nanny job.

They had a fitness machine in their house with weights, and huge boxing bag outside. I asked about it and they said Bruce used to do pro cage-fighting.

They sounded, to me, like cops. I also saw Karine go through my glovebox to my car, and she told me once she would clean my car for me if I left the keys behind. I said that was a nice offer but it was okay. I could tell she just wanted to get into my car. My car key disappeared and reappeared once, and my driver's license disappeared and then reappeared right before I was leaving.

They set me up. Even when I was at the lawyer's office that Bruce took me to, there was some guy there and they recognized eachother and smirked and it was like Bruce had either been to that attorney's office before, or the other guy knew about me.

I also noticed that they didn't seem pleased, and didn't like it when I got my son hooked up with a speech therapist in Canada. My son was going to get a full evaluation, and MRI to determine what happened with my son's speech going to gibberish, and I could tell Bruce and Karine didn't like the idea. I talked to the speech therapist at length and she said it was warranted and necessary and it was going to be at no cost to me.

Finally, the movies they wanted me to watch, and they didn't want to me to watch ALL of the movies they saw, but just select ones--were revenge movies where the lesson is to the individual not to get involved with the gang and not to stand up for yourself, basically.

They didn't want me to say anything about the Catholic church, vandalisms and threats, or the FBI, to immigration or any authorities in Canada. They said to just talk about the doctors in Wenatchee and medical problems. They wanted to hear my "story" and I wonder if it was just for their own discovery.

They told me not to write anything, or look anything up on their computer.

They tried to get me to take a prescription for medication that was for Bruce, for "his nerves". It was a tranquilizer. They didn't want me to be on the narcotics, but they kept trying to get me to take this tranquilizer for mental illness. I refused, and I noted Bruce wasn't taking it either and the prescription was new, given after my arrival.

I demonstrated no need for a tranquilizer, but they kept telling me it was "very mild" and just helped "relax" a person.

Basically, if they were setting me up to have my son taken from me, it would have been great, in someone's eyes. Get me started on meds I didn't need.

Finally, I knew because of the way they were when I left. It wasn't "see you later", it was goodbye and Bruce wasn't even be there. It was just Karine. Karine asked where we were going and I told her Wal-mart. They told me not to write anything when I stayed with them, but I wrote things secretly, on the side, and hid it, in case I needed it later. I thought something was up with them, so I documented things, in case I needed it later.
