All of a sudden, a slight problem but I don't really think so. He got a letter that he has 30 days to be here and then must go back. That was 8 days ago. But he just told me and just found out.
Someone told him if he marries now, he has to marry in Colombia or live in Colombia for 2 months first.
I don't think this is the case, because a friend who married and was marrying an American, she was from E`quador, and she didn't have to do that.
As far as I know, as long as he marries within a certain timeframe, here, we've both received legal advice that everything is proper. So I don't think it's a problem.
