felt like listening to post punk today. had "just like heaven" in my mind. listened to it a few times and then cure radio. a lot of it is darker but i still like it. "water poppy on the edge of no escape"--like that image from "she's lost control again" by joy division.
heard "lullaby" by the cure, after just like heaven, and "christine" by sioxsie & the banshees. like them all, just a little bit dark. like "blue monday" by new order LOTS. the electronic beginning makes me smile.
the photos from the engagement party are not the best ones. others used better cameras and tonight we'll be with some friends who say they've got some really good ones and i'll upload those, probably tonight. i look so white! i didn't want to put any of the hand & ring shots in because my wrists are bony and my face looks awful. i sort of want to put them in bc of the peace sign though, sort of funny. i tried to publish another of one where i joked it doesn't look like i have heterochromia, it looks like i have a glass eye. one eye is green and the other is red. the green eye looks like an empty orb.
having coffee today and then picking up more records and filing things. hopefully spending some time writing too.
