Runnin' Up That Hill by Kate Bush

I have heard a lot of good british 80s and new wave music today. I nearly started crying at "forever young" and kate bush's "running up that hill" gets me.

Pet shop boys, and some other music which made me, for some reason, think about a former flame and princess diana. forever young makes me think of princess di and her sons but i don't know why.

I have thought more about her case. Haven't had time to do research but I feel very strongly her family wasn't involved. I think any family problems were a smokescreen for intel or government renegades. I think it had to do with the political consequence of marrying a Muslim but also, I feel it had something to do with her work on landmines and the information she had, her dossier, which disappeared, which she probably compiled with the help of others who gave her some information that was damaging to some group. She was a public defender. I think that's what got her "into trouble" in the long run. She wasn't a philanthropist anymore, she was an activist. A very powerful one with a voice all the world would listen to.

Hahahaa! this song cracks me up: "psycho killer" by talking heads. made me laugh out loud. i should tell all my potential dates this is my favorite song and bring a copy on a CD with me to push into a player everytime i get into my new date's car. i also like david bowies "ashes to ashes". i like how the rhythm is sort of...i don't know...it's similar to _______ will have to think about it.

"There is a light that never goes out" is a great song by The Smiths. My favorite line is "...and if a government bus crashes into us,...and if a 10 lb truck crashes into us...thee is a light that never goes out."

HHhhhhhhhaaaaaaa!!! I love this song! first time i've heard it. By Trio, "Da, Da, Da" just cracked me up after both verses. I love this song. I haven't laughed out loud this much over a song in awhile. I like "Give Me Hope Joanna" too. I also like Bryan Adams' "I Need Somebody."

I just had this guy writing me saying he thought we needed more time to develop our friendship. ?! He's 77. SEVENTY-SEVEN. how much time do we Hhhhhhhhhaaaaaaave? I mean, what if he has a heart attack tomorrow. You know what though, he might still have a whole 'nother 30 in him. I've already lived 30 whole years plus. I wonder what it's like to be with someone when they're 97 and you're 57. Who knows. Maybe my daddy would let me have a sugarbaby-boy. ? ya think? i'm kidding around, but seriously, the guy whose 77 wants to take everything real slow. Ooooooooooohhhhh...thaaaaaAAt's why?

I've been working on the computer all day today. Sent out more applications or inquiries for work and sent resumes out and did some other work as well. Been working on this almost all day.

I've been hearing this mix that is like a combo of 2 past flames songs (though I forwarded past all the Spanish...need time to recover from Alvaro, I must say. Something is tainted now. But, then a lot was also llike Princess Di songs and then others were like military boys songs. Lots of fighting and war type songs. Right now, "No Surrender" by Springsteen. cool british stuff of late..."behind the green door" by shaking somethings. 4 ever 2 gether...abcs.

good woman lyrics: voice of the beehives "monsters and angels". very good. sort of an 80s anthem. also like please don't talk to strangers and "our lips are sealed". dark but poignant "second skin" by the chameleons. sort of a glass of wine and racing around an old roller skating rink with the disco globe spiraling around casting triangle and prisms onto the floor and walls. roller skating song.
