This is a statement from another Latina from my neighborhood, translated by her son:

To Whom It May Concern:
She came with him and brought him and played with him and followed him and allowed him to play with other kids and I never saw him abused. I always saw that she treated him fine.
I don’t think she had any mental problems because I never saw a bad reaction, she was a normal person, played a lot with the kids, and talked well with him. She was really good with others’ kids too. I don’t think she had any problems with drugs or alcohol.
I saw her bringing him to the park, and always visiting other people. I invited her to family BBQs and to eat with my family.
My sister received a car seat and baby clothes from Cameo.
