I'm going to post a comment from someone who thought the new press release about location of nuclear sites was "old news" about the decommissioned Hanford site which is hours away from Wenatchee, WA. I just looked this up and I was confusing one thing with another. But the list from the government, given to President Obama, is only for ACTIVE and operational sites. There were listings of operations which were shut down or decommissioned, but the one in Richland, is still being used, and the information is with the atomic agencies.
The Richland, WA plant has been in operation, for creating nuclear fuel AND as a "reactor" site. This is right next door, and this information is deemed "sensitive" but not classified. If so, there are other projects going on in the area which WOULD be not just "classified", but "highly classified".
I had someone approach me, after what happened to me and my son, and when I first came back to Wenatchee to visit. This guy was a major world uranium dealer who was born and raised in Wenatchee, WA. Why did he want to talk to me? Why did he and Tomas Cabellero, AG for the state, care whether or not I'd had a blood analysis done after what happenedd? Why did I have such a hard time getting bloodwork done when this was going on and I was going to the clinics and hospitals with complaints? Why was I so low in potassium and being given mega doses of potassium at the hospital, something which is reserved for victims of nuclear explosions and other leaks? Nuclear energy saps potassium from the body and one protective measure is to put high loads in the body's system. Why was a man from the Department of Energy following me around at this time? Why do my symptoms of seizure also fit the reaction of a person to a short nuclear blast? from instant diarrhea or vomiting, to increased cranial pressure, to almost blacking out and then abnormal blood levels on glucose, potassium and other things? Why do I have so many U.S. government people trying to pin some mental illness on me when the longer time goes on, the more the pieces fit, that something happened to me and my son and it wasn't normal and someone wanted others to think I was crazy so no one would ever believe this.
Why did people in D.C. and with the U.S. military believe me?
I just checked the FAS site again and the list was removed. If it has been removed, it was done just recently, because it was there this morning. The Richland site is still operational. Perhaps this kind of information has been decided by the U.S. to be more "confidential" than they originally claimed, because the public has been told Hanford or Richland sites, were decommissioned and being cleaned up.
Well guess what? they're NOT. They are in use and have been in use and this information was never supposed to be leaked to the public and now it appears the FAS has received pressure to take this list down. I just wrote to Steven Aftergood to ask why the document has been removed from the site.
It was a formal U.S. document that listed all the operational plants and what they were doing in general, and the information went to Pres. Obama. It also went to the Atomic Energy people.
If this document is no longer available, you can bet it's because people like me are putting two and two together and they want to avoid lawsuits or public outrage for being lied to about sites being cleaned up when they're actually still in use and pose certain risks to the public.
I don't know. I wonder if The Wenatchee World might need a new reporter. Who had THIS one on their beat?
Keep up. I am going to have more people in Wenatchee reading my fucking BLOG than the Wenatchee World newspaper.
At any rate, I just checked and there is another copy somewhere else and I'll be posting it for everyone in Wenatchee and Washington to read for themselves if they so desire. I wouldn't make this up.
