Work & Car Accident In Front Of My House Last Night

Last night I worked, just a few hours and in training. I was paid $40. I only worked about 3 hours. When I showed up, a song that I keep hearing wherever I go, to dance or work or whatever, was on: "Pour Some Sugar On Me" by Aerosmith and then the theme song for The Post Pub: "I Love This Bar."

I met some good people and then went home, getting a ride from some people. Actually, I drove because I was sober. They wanted me to after-party with them but I just went home. Just wanted to go to bed. This one couple was really interesting. She was really smart and held non-traditional jobs that men typically take. He was interesting in his own way and polite and I think had something serious on his mind. But both were very playful and having fun. I think everyone there was having fun. I felt very comfortable. I might see them again sometime in the future. I said I'd hang out in the future.

I heard this one song "Meet Virginia" and danced with her because no one else wanted to dance. I am a terrible lead. I wanted to spin her but didn't know how to do it, and then she was very good, as a matter of fact. It was fun. I remember that song and "Redemption Song."

Also, my back was really acting up. I had been feeling better with my back but after standing and running around without sitting for 3 hours, my back, lower back where the herniated discs are, really hurt. When I woke this morning, I had the burning feeling down both of my thighs and my stomach and my back both ached. The old herniated disc pain. I didn't take anything other than 2 Tylenol for it, but I think to actually work, I may need to get a prescription again. OTCs didn't really help so much. I think I would only need to take something if I were working for a long time, on my feet.

When I pulled up to my place, there were cars and ambulance, and fire truck. Right in front of my house.

Disaster finds me wherever I go.

A major car accident pile up right in front of the house. Four cars total and one of the guys was rushed to the hospital. My eyes were wide and I said, as I was getting out of the truck: "I think this is bad luck."

All in all, it was a good night. I was learning how to bartend. I learned how to "pour" and count out shots. First time I've done it.

Oh, and this place, first thing I noticed, was the painting of something that I wrote about in some of my images. Seriously. Something sort of unique.
