If anyone is interested, I am working with someone to be a consultant for a surrogacy business in another state that is now looking for surrogate mothers.
Wenatchee women who are interested in helping others and also receiving compensation to help themselves or their own families are encouraged to respond.
In the State of Washington it is illegal for a woman to receive compensation for surrogacy but there are states which will accept women from other states.
I am still looking at legal details so I cannot formally "advertise" yet, but if anyone is interested in talking with me about surrogacy and their options, you are free to call to discuss the matter.
It would be free of charge to ask questions and I can let you know about your options here in Washington (right now, you can be a surrogate but cannot be compensated for it, while the laws vary widely in different states) and in other states as well.
If everything checks out okay, I would be looking for surrogate mothers who seem to be the best match for the intended parents, regardless of background or circumstances.
However, I am also especially interested in helping mothers who are going through custody battles, private or through the state, who feel they are good mothers but need money in order to have a fair fight.
This is also a way for mothers to be able to stay at home with their own children and be paid while carrying for intended parents.
Surrogate mothers (or carriers, to be more precise) are women who will either carry a child for a couple or single using their own egg (so the child would have half of your own genes and DNA) or through being a carrier for a transfered embryo (the egg and sperm of another mother and father).
