King Publishing?

I just got a call from King Publishing (?) or a man saying he was from this publishing house, and letting me know, he said, they didn't print children's books. So I said okay and he said best wishes and that was all. But then I thought, "I didn't call any King Publishing group (I don't think)" and looked at my notes and nowhere do I have this company listed. I called *69 and got a Pennsylvania number which I don't know if it's right or not. But it came up, at least, as 215-721-7967.

King Publishing was a sister company to King Printing. Among others, we published State College Magazine, a city/regional monthly; Pennsylvania Business Central, a bi-weekly business-tobusiness newspaper; Hayom, a Jewish lifestyle magazine. The publications were sold in 2007.

I don't know if king publishing is PA based or part of a larger group like this. I have no idea. But I looked at all my notes and I don't see King Publishing in my notes of places I called, but I could be totally wrong. I don't usually post this info online and have had a couple other responses and they're private and will stay that way but I'm curious about this one! Mainly, because I don't think I called them!

Legendary newsletter publisher Llewellyn King's mathematics goes like this: 1 + 1 = 1.

He has combined Defense Week and Navy News & Undersea Technology to create the daily Defense Today.

"When I started publishing Defense Week 25 years ago, the weekly frequency was appropriate to the times and to the subject. Now, with things moving so fast, it is important for us to bring the news to our readers daily," King said.

"I started Defense Week because, at the time, it was my belief that the defense community was poorly served by its press. It was clear to me that much of the media covered the Pentagon through its critics, and that the trade press was too close to its subject," King said.
