I am really shocked and surprised at what wonderful women I'm having respond to the surrogacy ads. I sort of thought...I don't know what I thought. I figured there would be a lot of filtering to do.
I am committed to not putting their personal information out there but it's just very surprising, to me, because the women I've talked to so far, are really normal, stable, stay at home moms already. They have supportive husbands and healthy and active lifestyles; they're pleasant to talk to and sensible and well educated about nutrition. I mean, these are not run of the mill women, they're really fantastic.
So I sit here stumped.
I think this is going to make a lot of people happy, all the way around. Two of them were even considering doing this for friends before they thought of doing it to add a little for their own families.
I'm just kind of shocked. Happily surprised, but shocked.
