Why Sleep With The Enemy?

One might ask why sleep with the enemy or make contact at all, or ask questions. It might have something to do with the fact that while concerns are not improved, one may feel threatened enough to try to do what one can, for the sake of their son.

So if it seems I go back and forth, I do. To try to get more information and to the bottom of motives, even if I am already fairly clear on what they are. If not even the people who are supposed to be good are helping, it puts one in a sort of hostage situation where one might do the unexpected simply out of the hope that damage can be reduced.

It doesn't mean one is wishy-washy. It means they are still testing the waters.

I wouldn't feel so smug, if I were the enemy. I wouldn't, if I were you. And I also wouldn't presume to know what I'm thinking or why I do what I do either.

I have had a few problems with this recently and I don't like it. I also don't like being jerked around back and forth, with some claiming one thing is good for me and then it's not.
