Well I didn't know if there would be anything at all! The sun was shining and nothing through the night and then boom! no rain in spain on the plain. It's snowing!
Blizzard-like snow.
I sang a few songs and felt a lot of power from some of them. Really, again felt this power from Lagan Love and then with Whitney Houston's "I Didn't Know My Own Strength" and a little with hip hop which was fun. But really,, I put this song on again and it's very strong.
On my calendar today I have "Yama" which is from Tibet, early is 18th century. I love these colors and they go really well with my tulips. The balance is uncanny with all that detail and still...balanced? One example of "busy" and yet beautiful.
For some reason, Charles (prince charles) and Sarah, Di's sister came to mind. When I got to "no life I owe (or own?), nor liberty, for love is lord of all" Sarah's face came to mind. Her sons too, earlier this morning. I also thought of another Sarah for some reason.

This is so much better than rain! This snow is beeautiful! It's snowing but there is a light too...very pretty. REALLY snowing here. Made me think of my son and our talk about "snow mountain" and stopping the fire with snow.

This is one of my favorite McKennit songs: The Old Ways! I used to sing this one in my early 20s often. I think it was on the first CD I had from her and I remember that I bought my first CD at a seaside town in Oregon while visiting the beach. It was a bookstore with music as well. Very small and I believe it was Cannon Beach. Over a decade ago. Small details...I don't know why I remember.

My feet are still swollen again. I think I'm having a few medical issues (physical). Going to listen to kids music now to get motivated to get things done for my son. Seriously, my only mental health issue is avoidance, I think, from PTSD from the trauma over this matter. Other than that I think I'm fine.

I was just watching C-SPAN and they were talking about what sounded like the weakening of the monarchy. I am not really in support of this. I think it's nice to have a kingdom in a way, for traditional and cultural reasons if nothing else. I guess though, I don't know what it's like there.

How strange. Now the snow just abruptly quit and the sun is bursting out shining and there isn't even rain. This is the most bizarre weather! I need a very quick nap bc I'm exhausted but I will very soon put my head on straight and get down to business. This snowstorm cleared up in less than 5 minutes. Completely. It was so FAST I don't know if you could believe it.
I wish I could talk to my Dad or someone who cares about me and find out who the people are that reeally car about me and my son. Sometimes I'm trying to give my own parents a heads up about things. No one is perfect and I don't want good people to suffer for minor mistakes when they cared. I'm just sorting through things.

Still procrasting but almost ready...looked up royal headlines. Such a terrible diversion. I didn't read everything. Mainly, I liked Camillas pin of the lily of the valley (I think) in this shot. Really love it. She looks very good there too.

K. hiding her face. very cute dress, that yellow and orange one with the black. I guess I felt sympathy a little, bc some of the headlines I don't take seriously at all, and if one can laugh, even at oneself and the lines, that's probably a good trait because I keep thinking of the Princess Leah knobs and her book about how she's been "cast" in life. I hope Camilla's leg heals up quickly and I mean this sincerely. I am also not being sarcastic about the pin--it's one of my favorite flowers, the lily of the valley. I grew up with many memories of them as a little girl. I like how they are so magnificent and powerful yet delicate and hidden in the cool and shadows. I thought I'd make it clear I wasn't being sarcastic bc the other day I made quips and they were outrageous, but I was completely just going off, quipping and didn't mean anything serious by that (but I THINK that was obvious).

Listened to Dire Straits "Romeo & Juliet" again and then the sky clouded up and I think this time it might rain! I don't know. If it SNOWS, it will be tres bizarre!!!
TRES BIZARRE! TRES BIZARRE! TRES BIZARRE! Within TWO MINUTES FLAT, the solid blue =skies and sun went instantly to SNOW. The sky is white and SNOW is falling and it was previously so warm I had to take off my sweater.

I had an appointment to go to today but with inclement weather it wasn't practical so I am going to set a private appointment or go next week and I'm getting other things done right now which are as important. Basically, was going to get fingerprinting done for records from FOIA but I can make that 2nd priority when I have to get into a new apartment and house. I would be walking and have no idea what I would wear. We've had about 6 blizzards today and then inbetween, sunny Hawaiian holiday weather. Off-on, Off-on, like an ENFP, strong P. I think this calls for a Katy Perry song about Hot & Cold.
No surprise about the snow. They've been predicting it. The wind was blowing pretty well all night and we had rain during the evening. They're saying 12"-20" of snow in the mountains. It's spring in Washington!!
ReplyDeleteI really have no idea why you wrote to minimize what happened yesterday. Everyone who witnessed what happened said it was the most bizarre thing they had ever seen, and snow wasn't predicted here. I find it strange that you would even write in, about "weather", just to claim it was no big deal when everyone here was shocked because it was completely weird.
ReplyDeleteIf you were not outdoors or by a window, perhaps you didn't notice, but everyone else did. As for rain in the evening, over here there wasn't even hardly any drizzle.
The snow-break-sudden instant sun was abnormal shifting and I talked to elderly people who have lived here their entire lives.
