I walked into the public library to type out my New Trial and Change of Venue request and this woman was sitting there blowing bubblegum very dramatically and staring at me when I walked in. I walked over to her and said, "You look familiar. How long ago did you move here?" and she opened her mouth and I said "One year" before she got out "A little over one year ago."
I don't know who she is at all and she doesn't look familiar.
But if she was going to be in my face with the bubblegum bubble, obviously knowing my court matters, she's going to be on the receiving end of a subtle reminder that her thoughts are not safely guarded.
I said it right in front of a bunch of people in public so others overheard.
I also didn't say "1 year" as a question. I made a statement, because I knew.
