Blocked From Lawyers? & ACLU

I am still trying to meet with my appointed public defender for the "misdemeanor" I supposedly committed which was set up with crime of others to begin with. Everytime I went into the offices, he wasn't available, even if I showed up when they thought he was available.

I sent email and no response. I did speak with him one time on the phone and he said he had to talk to the prosecuting attorney but I have gone in since then and not heard anything and just tried to send email and now either my computer has issues again or I am blocked from the server because my email attempt didn't go through.

I have trial in one week supposedly, and I have no idea what is going on.

I have no lawyer for the custody matter either and I need someone right now, to be involved in this. I cannot wait on it and I don't want any lawyer from Wenatchee who thinks it's okay to have visitation blocked from audio taping and goes along with that kind of thing.

I was told to contact an Erik Bakke who just referred me to 2 other organizations that have refused to help me in the past: the Chelan-Douglas Volunteer Attorneys (where I have been harassed by Kristi a number of times...almost every single time I've been there) and the ACLU.

I sent something to the ACLU but it seems someone who hates me always intercepts my efforts.

I have a good case for them, but I think the wrong people might interfere. Unless someone good gets to it first, or later

  2. Hi,

    Justin Collier.

I just got an email where he said these same cops who screw up left and right, and this woman erickson and prosecuting attorney, refuse to drop it. They want to offer me:

    1. A criminal record without time in jail. Swell deal. Is that an offer? For their criminal behavior?

I haven't met him yet and I asked to see him in person. I keep trying to and haven't met him yet.

  3. Cameo...Mr. Collier is a nice enough guy, who is a strong advocate for his client's rights. give him a chance, cuz he's pretty good.

Please note that most attorneys need for you to make appointments and to keep them. Many of them spend a great deal of time in the court house, so they aren't in the office much. Call and schedule an appointment with him and keep it. He can't help you, if you don't do your part. He doesn't need you to do the legal research, he will need for you to keep your appointments and to answer his questions fully and truthfully.

I personally think you got lucky with getting him as your Public Defender, cuz he's good. I've seen him in court. I say call his office today and make an actual appointment to meet with him and go over things. Just showing up doesn't guarantee that you will talk with him. So make an appointment and keep it. Good luck!
