Good Samaritan Returns My Card--thank you

Somehow, I have no idea how, just as I got an email from the State, telling me there was no one to help me get my card back (with food and money on it), I had a good samaritan return it to me.

I say good samaritan because my feeling is that the money and cash are still on the card, but I don't know for sure, because it just came to mind that maybe someone kept it to take the money and then just give me a spent card back.

Since the idea that someone took everything came to mind, maybe that's what happened, and then I have the State telling me today I can't get another one for about a week.

I will have to find out.

I know when the card reappeared and I also know that it wasn't there. I opened up that pocket and showed the police, both of them, because I wanted to see if possibly it was in the only other lplace I would keep it. So they witnessed that I didn't have it at all.

I am hopeful that someone didn't steal the money. If someone did, there would be evidence at the ATM machine so probably someone didn't, right?

I want to say it was a good samaritan thing.

The only other way money would disappear without a trace would be if someone at the State offices cancelled it and took it somehow but I THINK there is still a record of where someone goes, to which ATM and everything, but maybe NOT. If NOT, I would say that if someone took the money, it was done in collusion with a state worker.

That would be my guess. Because otherwise, someone risks having their face on the ATM, unless they knew via a state worker that there is no record and nothing shows about where someone withdraws money from the cards.

It wouldn't be hard for someone to do because my pin is easy to remember and people have watched me use it.

At least I have officers who literally saw me dump out all the contents of that pocket, because they would know I tried to check the only other place first.

But I am worried someone stole it, to use it and then return it and claim I have the money and that I'm trying to get more.

At least, if that is the case, I would know who to trace it to and what general time.
*************
There's money! So thank you.

I stood there at the ATM and asked, "Do you think there's money or not?" and answered myself with "Yes". Based on not having had one of my bad vibes. Maybe logic too, of how someone might be on ATM (but maybe not, who knows).

I don't know who did it, but thanks.
