Oliver Is Better

I called to see how my son was and he is completely improved. I could hear him in the background chattering and he sounded better too and he was barely even coughing.

Last night he was still wheezing. I was told the fever broke this morning.

It had broken after I asked someone from CPS to go over and check on him, right after the missed visit and what she said is that he would have no fever at all during the day but then at night his fever would go up to 102 or higher and he didn't sleep.

Last night he slept for once and by this morning, no fever.

She thought it was a little weird too, that he only had the fever at night but he was very ill. This morning is the first time he sounds normal again.

Thank you, if someone got involved to help, and thanks to God.

When my aunt was telling me last night, my son started to cough and wake up and I heard him say, "It hurts" and then she was irritable and said she didn't want the call to wake him. But I felt he wanted to hear from his mother and that would make him feel better and be comforting too. So I called back and left a message letting hiim know I heard he was sick and I hoped he would get better soon and I was thinking about him even though he couldn't see me and couldn't wait for our next visit. I told him to try to get better and think about Mama and I was praying for him and would see him soon.

This probably helped some, and he slept for the first time last night, but also, his fever didn't break until later. It may be something else contributed to his getting better.
