Gin

I don't know why, but I've always liked to chew on pine needles. I had a glass of gin recently and it reminded me so much of the pine! It was like drinking a tree. I think some gin is more pine-y than other kinds.

I have wondered, I'm sure there is nothing new under the sun in this day and age, but I wish I knew if there was something no one has thought of, which could be turned into a liquor.

I keep thinking, if a cactus makes a good liquore, there have to be other things out hthere no one has thought of.

But maybe not. People use plants and trees and vines and flowers and fruits and...well, why not vegetables? or hot dogs? and processed foods? I am guessing there is something to do with acid but no, grain and some plants are not acidic by nature. I just wonder. I wonder if there is...so gross, like the hot dogs, such a thing as a meat liquor, made out of meat.

Something seaweed and apricot maybe. Or maybe not. I don't know, it just came to mind randomly...something very green and then sweet like apricot might be good.

I would bet something called jelly bean liquor would sell too. Liquor in jelly belly flavors. Maybe it's already out there. Will check.

Yep. It's been done.

WELL. WELL THEN. No one has done a line of meat flavored liquors, so there. I want a turkey, roast beef, ham, chicken, steak, pheasant, line. I want a bacon liquor for my tomato juice PEOPLE. COME ON. Get with MY program.

Okay, I see how the drink, like a bloody mary, would accompany the food. But if a drink can be a dessert or take the place of one, why not take the place of a main meal, or appetizer? artichoke, olive, and antipasto drinks, bacon & tomato drinks. I actually think the bacon and tomato drink sounds good. With a green olive on the side.

Very weird. There is already a bacon and tomato sandwich drink. and it is made with things I would never think taste like that. lemondade? and rum? and gin? so weird. I think one should be made with tomato juice.

I'm glad i'm not a bartender. I wonder if someone has made a hot dog drink.
