Sade's New CD

I saw her video for Soldier of Love and like it a lot. I have always liked her. I haven't heard any of the other songs but she's just so beautiful to watch and listen to. My favorite part of the song is the horn, whatever kind it is, in the beginning.

I don't think this is really unique, like Erykah Badu really, but even if it's sort of traditional Sade, it's not bad. I kind of like it better with the video. It makes me think of the song King Of Love. is that right? in a way, that would be cool. sort of a side by side. It reminds me of one of the songs on that CD, like it could be the sequel.

NO! It's like "Lover's Rock" or whatever that one is. You could even blend the two together.

You are the lover's rock...the rock that I turn to...in a storm,...

Yes, this song is so reminscint. I think one could sing the phrases of Lovers' Rock and weave it through this new song, like, coming from an old radio from the 1950s during war times. Either at the beignning of this song or end or somehow threaded but not sure how it would make sense. With a raspy billie holiday effect and very raw sound. Like an old 40s radio I guess.

But I don't know how that would work because I like the idea in this new video already and I think it's dual...that she is a soldier of love and she is also singing about a soldier of love.

So throwing in lover's rock, and ...? how would that mesh? I might have to look up the Lovers Rock video.

Wait, is it "somebody already broke my heart?" I am trying to think of which song it is that is so familiar.

I don't know. I just get this idea of one of the old songs coming from an old radio and sort of mixing or coming before this video or something.

That horse! It looks enormous. I have never seen such a muscled horse. The horse has been seriously lifting weights to get into that kind of shape. Or pulling heavy loads of hay. I don't know how in the world someone would get a horse to look like that. I wonder if anyone ever uses steroids on horses.
