I Like Gordon Brown

I hope Brown is re-elected. I like him and I don't know what he's like as a leader personally, but I have a gut feeling that this is a man with good character and in my opinion, that is the most important thing.

I don't know anything about British politics or who the Camerons are at all, so maybe I'm wrong, but I like him. I think he has firm and solid values at heart, and the economy is bad for everyone no matter who is in charge right now.

I believe I met him once, and he is a very unassuming and soft-spoken man who doesn't parade his authority about. I believe he told me his name but I had no idea who he was, and it wasn't until much later I realized the connection.

He didn't talk about himself, didn't harp on political theories, he was your average intelligent man at a bar having a drink, and the man is sharp and observant, but I also think he seemed kind. I had a good feeling about him.

I also think Diana liked him but I don't know. I have no idea and it wouldn't matter, but I formed my own opinion from a first impression and I felt he was a humble and caring person. He had warm eyes.

You don't get that from everyone. Politics being what they may be, it's hard to find people with integrity and I feel confident in his character and integrity. Not that people can't go astray or be infallible, but even in photos, you can see it...his aura is good.

I love my Gordon Setter.

I just looked up the other guy. Just on wiki. I don't have as good of a "vibe" with the other guy, just from the photo and when I read someone commented he was like a hollow Easter Egg, I wonder if it might be true. I don't know if this is why I got the idea of jabbing a stick into the spokes of a bicycle tire. I'm just kidding. :) This other guy sounds very qualified and I don't know what my politics would be anyway, but I have faith in brown and trust him. More than than the other guy. Just from an intuitive feeling, and having met Brown, I can vouch for him that this is a man of integrity and I thought this before I ever read his wiki page.
