I got something from the Judge in a formal paper about not giving me New Trial, but nothing about not giving me a lawyer for this termination proceeding, so I am able to make a New Trial with a lawyer there to help me get evidence into the record.
The lawyer I met today told me yes, this was wrong and improper. He agreed with me that it looked like Hotchkiss and the State didn't want to allow me an opportunity to put things into the record so it's actually appeal-able.
