Paints

I found some paints that I think were like my old little portable set. Winsor-Newton. I guess this time I noticed they're approved by Prince of Wales, which I never noticed before on my other set. I looked at some paints at a different store which had a compact carrier but I didn't like the brush...it wasn't a real brush but some kind of push pen brush thing. So I waited and saw they have normal brushes with this set and I already know the paints are good. I didn't buy anything though bc I don't have a lot of money to spare. I already bought crayons and markers and will make do with them for now.

There are other things I may need to spend my money on.

I picked up a brochure of the Winsor-Newton designer gouache watercolors because it has a palette with color names to refresh my memory for writing vocab. I started to smirk though because the guy featured painting reminded me of Harry. I guess it's just an English redhead look. I don't know. Something faintly resembles Harry. I think they might have the same kind of freckles...I don't know. No, just kidding.

I did think, after seeing the paints, about Philips' watercolor of his wife, and thought, "Did I ever get it right" when I wrote a long time ago about how I thought they were all artists. It was before I had read even one book on any of them or skimmed or anything. I had only looked through a couple of articles and came to the conclusion that they were artists by nature. In different ways I'm sure, but still.
