Weekend of the Assholes

I think this weekend should have a name: Weekend of the Assholes.

There are so many assholes in town today, who just drove in from God knows where, and God knows they are probably staying for the weekend.

More money in town right now, and a lot of professionals mixed with the regular assholes. Assholes in the sense of hanging out the window, leering at me, and so many very smug faces. Not only that, some very juevenile behavior, with grown men putting their fingers in their mouths in a gag motion, or turning heads to bug their eyes out, or drive around the block.

Not just Seattle and out of towners but out of staters. Lots. Some from out of country too, but more than anything, just a lot of assholes.

Some of them, I think, just drumming things up and maybe wanting to see if I make note or not. The real ones, we all know, are not usually so demonstrative. They would at least make a show of keeping it to themselves one way or the other.

I wouldn't know where to begin with all the reporting and plates but I wrote down just a few. I know most of these people got off work early on Friday and drove over here. Again, some are local, and a lot of them out on the road because it was after 5 p.m., but there are a lot of "hot shots" around who have no manners.

Not that I always do either, but it's strange to see in those who have absolutely no excuse for it. I suppose I feel a little justified in shouting out after the things I have been dealing with, and even then I've done very well...considering...and if people really knew...but what is their excuse??? Especially if you already have money and a number of other normal things lined up, I would just THINK...that there would be a natural inate sense of decorum.

I've lost mine recently, but I think maybe part of the harassment is that there is still fear that I am a threat of some kind. If I were not, no one would bother. Why waste the time?
