From what I could see on the screen, from the ultrasound, the fetus wasn't moving around. Maybe sleeping or something, but I didn't see a lot of active movement. If I'm having water gushing out so often, I wonder if I could have a small tear in the amniotic sac?
I don't know if this always shows up on ultrasound, a basic ultrasound that is. And if it looks okay, does the sac fill and replenish itself while still leaking?
I don't have an appointment for a few weeks and I wonder if I should wait or go back. I don't want to have a miscarriage or anything. My objective is to have a healthy baby.
I just want to be sure everything is okay, because I'm not certain I was taken very seriously, and I don't know, as a layperson, if a basic ultrasound, done over the stomach instead of intravaginally, has good enough resolution to pick up on things.
Just wondering. If anyone has ideas, let me know. I don't want to be a pest at the medical facility, but I want to be vigilant as a mother.
Again, let me know, if you have any suggestions. I wonder if I should call the clinic--but I don't want to come across as high maintenance either.
If I just knew that the ultrasound I had should be sufficient, I'd be okay, but why am I still gushing out water? It's not urine. It's other water. Lots of other discharge too, normal pregnancy stuff, but the water I don't get.
I've noticed this for a few weeks but it seems to be happening more frequently in the last one week or two (at most).
