Seattle Fire

Now they have new photos that show the extent of damage being on second floor and the size of apartments but the original photos didn't allow one to see where the fire really was. It actually looked more ground level than anything else. Maybe though, in the new photos, it's just the smoke damage, not the fire damage stuff.

I don't know. From the newer photo it looks like the majority of the smoke and damage was on one side, where the entrance would be, or maybe stairs.

I got the idea "electrical wires" but then I tried to think about where and it says the fire started in the "living area" downstairs. If electrical wires is right, it would either be something around a light that is connected to the ceiling, something in the walls, or an outlet that had something plugged into it. For smoke to accumulate I wouldn't think it was the ceiling first but it also looks like there is possibly a basement of some sort so was it the ceiling of the basement or crawl space that had problems and caught the living room on fire and then smoke rose up? or, something about a light fixture and maybe wires connected. It looks to me like there is a daylight basement bc there are small windows at the bottom so for smoke to have time to rise and fire to burn that fast, I would think possibly something electrical with the ceiling of the basement or crawl space which ignited things on the first floor and then rose through the ceiling to the second floor. That's my hunch.
