Books On Psychic Stuff

I recommend, having no width or breadth of knowledge and having not read even one of these books all the way through:

For Christians and Catholics (though sometimes Catholics are more accepting than Protestants of this kind of thing): "The Gift: Understand and Develop Your Psychic Abilities". I recommend this one because it begins with the understanding of conservatives, about this kind of thing, and addresses the spiritual gifts and also recognizes human intuition and potential. I like it because it's written from a Christian standpoint and helps to explain or undo the idea that any psychic gift is something bad or demonic. There ARE bad sources, but there are also good ones.

The Origins of Psychic Phenomenon by Stan Gooch is another one which is sort of academic and covers a lot of ground concisely and I like this one.
