I saw a little mirror with paintings on either side, 1920s, and wanted to have a closer look. I didn't realize that it is called, said the sign "antique tryptich mirror". so I had to look up tryptich today. there were two frames of a woman with child on either side and i looked at the left one first, which was "rambler" and had a climbing rose bush. i first thought, "rambler"...now that's one for me. the other side said "primrose" and i asked to look at it closer and the prints were made in Holland.
I guess tryptich means one on each side but it also says folding and this didn't fold at all. so i don't know that this is a true tryptich then.
Haha, I just found out I'm spelling it wrong. It's a y at the end not beginning so the way I did it makes it sound like a dinosaur.
And I found out it is a triptych if it has 3 panels, that's the main thing and it does.
Barracuda by Heart comes to mind now, for music, so my first song of the day...but that is bordering on giving out info again which I'm not doing.
