Actually, I'm not sure why I still think I or my son will ever get any kind of protection from the U.S. I still hope against all odds, but this is why I was trying to leave the country with my son.
I asked for assistance long before the worst happened and we were ignored.
Until someone clears my name and returns my son to me, I have no reason to have faith in this government. I only write the facts on the offchance someone out there with some clout may be able to assist, and that someone from another country, perhaps, would like to offer the protection my own country refused to provide.
