I don't mind having a public blog. I know people can read it and that's fine. But I really hate it when people make their voyeurism a "big secret", especially trying to keep it from me. I can usually pick up on whether someone is reading my blog or not. I could explain how but it would take too long.
I'll tell you one thing, it's a way to turn some into passive-aggressive, tight-lipped muthas. If someone reads my blog, why not tell me and let's talk about it? I really don't care if someone is reading. It's when they pretend not to know anything about it that sort of bugs me.
I suppose it's a compliment in some ways, or endearing, but some people just want to use information and hope you'll never know. My blog is about my life, but it represents only about 5% of my life and my actual thoughts and feelings. It's a snapshot, and there is no way it will ever capture my personality or who I am and what I think 24-7. It's like Enimem, writing songs for artistic license, and then having people think he is ACTUALLY planning to do some of the things he writes about.
Very few people understand what makes an artistic type tick. A REAL, genuine, fucking artist. Not a hipster trying to mimic art and artistry (and there are genuine hipsters who are also artists by the way), but there are not many true artists. Consummate artists, who understand what the lifestyle is about and how these people think and work, and that it's part of being this way, to be different. There are different kinds of artists too, but the ones I loathe are the wanna-be or copy cats. Actually, they flatter and reflect off of art. I suppose I mainly don't like people who are NOT artists but who think they can judge them. It takes one to know one, and while there are "appreciators", it's different to actually be a "comrade".
People will take offense though, if I write something they don't like. It's just an occupational hazard.
I am now listening to Eminem's "The Way I Am".
