I really like this Joshua Nozuka song. It makes me feel like dancing around, by myself, in a dark room. "After Tonight". I got so stressed out, I had to take a break. I couldn't find my stupid TTSOML posts, and then I had a hot toddy. I don't care if it's afternoon. I actually wanted a bloody mary or caesar, but had a hot toddy instead. Then, I decided to have another.
I think, sometimes, when I can't dance or sing, I have to write. Then, when I hear music and it moves me, I quit my writing. I used to run, but not so much now, with the injured knee.
Anyway, I am getting TTSOML posts done if I have to shun and block everyone out.
Last night, I had some idiot pull the rug out from under me. Sorry to assume, but the guy had Catholic prayer candles all over his house, so how do I know what his motive was. This is record man.
Who made an offer almost a week ago, and passed the offer onto me through his friends. Two different friends, and he gave details about the arrangement and how much rent he was asking for. I thought it was odd, however, he didn't want me to have his phone number. He wanted everything to go through other people, by verbal arrangement. Then it was strung out. "Two more days" to work things out or whatever. I wondered why the delay. I started to feel like I was maybe being set up, again.
Was this guy going to say I had a place, and then, last minute, back out? When I had nothing else to go to?
Turns out, yes! That's exactly what he did. He sends me this nasty text which is still on my cell phone, last night, knowing I had no other arrangement and that he was the one stringing things out.
It's one thing not to ever offer, or to refuse to go along with MY idea, but I never made the suggestion, he did, and he led me on, and I think it was intentional, especially given the fact he was so weird about my not having his phone number. What's up with that?
So the guy is a clear loser, with a special problem or attitude towards me. At least I frickin' have the names of the fuckers. Someday, down the line, I can lay it all out. For now, I'll just say this, knowing some people have the balls to read my blog, but not to tell me they're an asshole, to my face.
The whole thing is sketchy. The excuse later was that he was too drunk at the time the offer was made. So, all of a sudden, there WAS an offer, whereas before the argument was that there was never a verbal offer. The guy was still good for his offer, and giving details about it and talking to people about it, a couple days AFTER he was supposedly drunk. Sorry, but he wasn't drunk all 5 days he was stringing me out.
