I am at a cafe and this couple walked in. I noted first this necklace on the woman which was very simple with just a plain gold star. I somehow knew it wasn't just a trinket. And it's not very fancy, at ALL. But I knew it was really special somehow. So I said, "I like your necklace" and she said thanks and then given the opener, I added, "that looks like it has a very special sentimental value to it. like it really means something." and she smiled and laughed and said YES! she said, it was a gift from her daughter who presented it to her mom after she looked after her, after a surgery. Her daughter, she said, gave it to her, as a "gold star for being so wonderful."
I don't get that from all jewelry. A lot of my own jewelry...well, I don't wear jewelry really, but it's not sentimental. It's just something I picked up because I liked it.
Come to think of it...I haven't seen my green tourmaline ring from my Nana for a very long time. I think it must have been stolen at some point. It was my only significant, sentimental, piece of jewelry.
My other lucky guesses today were over a waitress, but I think they were more intuitive somehow and not ESP related or anything. I said it looked like she'd gotten some sun and she looked great, and I asked if it was from gardening or boating and she said, actually, both. She'd been boating on her boat AND gardening a lot. But...I think that guess was just intuitive...
