Welcome to the new edition of getting to know your friends. Okay, here's what you're supposed to do, and try not to be lame and spoil the fun! 13. Have you ever dyed your hair? yes, various other shades of red, blond, dark brown. was told i looked like liz hurley with dark brown, and i own a wig (for fun)

Do you wear contacts or glasses? glasses for distance driving but need new prescription, hence not driving at night much these days. if i had gas money though, i'd take a drive when the baby was sleeping, at night, for hours, and just think and have the windows down when it's balmy, and listen to music

28. When was the last time you cried? yesterday, thinking of the first time I saw my baby, my baby's eyes, and how I thought I knew my own baby immediately...they were my own eyes looking back at me.

31. What did you do last night? sleep, eat, care for baby, watch Malcolm in the Middle and nap until Nightline and Jimmy Kimmel

What inspires you? injustice inspires me to activism, friends, problems that need creative solutions, funny things, my Dad (though he's more than human), American Idol (inspires me to record original lullaby's for babies/children), good music and art and science museums (like OMSI in Oregon) inspire me to introduce Oliver to the good things in life, oh, and food...inspires me to live yet another day. dinner & drinks on a patio at dusk with friends

43. Car you drive? 1990 volvo with smashed out side window, dented side panel, but in a luxurious gold color

Favorite thing to do on Saturday? can i just meet someone who owns a boat? for freakin crying out loud, it's so hot. on days like these, i love to waterski, but i don't have friends with a boat here, and would need a babysitter. oh, and like a tent to shade my baby. okay, so not just any old boat. a frickin' yaht.
