4th Broken Promise--Contract (March 12, 2008)

In this email, my mother clearly says, "Beaty is already representing you for the first hearing." I was guaranteed a private attorney was representing me. A done deal. So I thought:

Hi. I just got home about an hour ago and am 'beat' but sat to read my email. How did visitation go today?
Hope it went well. Guess Shirley is working hard to get you the back to back two days instead of the one long haul....you might even thank her if you get a chance.
Holly said Oliver took a really long nap; think daylight savings has him a bit off schedule anyhow. Also said Andres got him toy drums and he loves to play those along with music. Mentioned that he ate a lot of the potato chowder Holly made for dinner, too.

As to the blogs, I understand ....or thought I did...that you are not 'doing' the drugs. But it's still not anything to be just throwing out there for cps and all to read. And a "fascination" with drugs, even, is not what most would construe as a GOOD thing, nor is learning the lingo and etc. Neither is it smart to be announcing to the world that you are attracted to this druggie guy, either. Even if you ARE, you don't have to tell everyone. It does NOT help your case. You seem to believe that being 'honest' is a virtue. Well, it is, as compared to being 'dishonest', but it is also a virtue to know when to NOT speak at all on certain subjects/issues. The Bible calls it 'taming the tongue' and 'brideling the tongue' and you need to learn that virtue. It can also be called discretion.

As for your attorney, he is already representing you for the hearing, but I've talked with him and not sure what will happen after that. It is NOT feasible to pay him $250 hour if the hearings take place in Wenatchee and he is in Bellingham. You could still end up with court-appointed, but we'll see what happens. He said it is a chance, but a very SLIM chance that they'd just dismiss the case. Says it COULD happen, but not likely. Same with change of venue...says not 'impossible' but definitely unlikely.

Glad you were able to get your things. Did you want to get/take other things from there? Dad has said he'd "store them for a while". Hope you thanked him for boxing them all up and putting in safe place when he could have just gotten rid of them after you skipped out on them like you did. It was a lot of work for them to have to go in and clean up your mess.

Hope you have a good visit tomorrow. Love, Mom
