Washington Post Today On Intelligence Article

Something funny I read in The Washington Post today, the editorial or article by a David Ignatious, about Obama's selection of intelligence personnel.

I had to laugh at loud where he writes about the "spooks" all looking unhappy and the only ones happy were the journalists, porking out on hor d'eurves and "gossip" at the CIA christmas party. He wrote a few funny lines in his article.

It's sort of sad though, too. If it's not a demoralizing time economically, ummm...what is it like for intelligence with everything that's going on. Things are going down the tubes, and they probably have even more insight than most, about some problems.

I really think a way to bring up morale, for everyone, is to just say, "Merry Christmas" and "Happy Holidays" and give everyone a cut of a new $700 billion dollar bailout. Then say it will never happen again and is a one time experiment. They've already done it with corporations. Give back to everyone else, and then that's that.
