Someone from the U.S. Dept. of Ed sent me an email in response to a question I had, and I hadn't opened it yet and they had it disappear from my laptop and removed it.
I know there are email programs like that, which allow a sender to retract unopened mail, because they were doing this in 1997 when I worked at CTR.
However, this is a federal government email that was retracted by customer service which I find strange.
I just looked for it in deleted and junk mail and it's not there. They sent it to me with a title including the number 79 for whatever reason. It was from the U.S. Dept. of Ed and had ed. and gov. in the address.
Now they took it back.
