Dear Governors of the Washington State Bar,

I am bringing this matter to your attention as I've not received a timely response to my multiple requests for a copy of my case file, over the last 6 months. I am a mother of a young son, who is 2 years old, and I have a right to a copy of the case file, for purposes for filing for dismissal of a dependency case that broke every rule and withheld evidence and discovery which was crucial to the defense. I also have a right to file an action in federal court for violation of civil rights and the statute of limitations is about to expire, as my parental rights are about to be permanently terminated if I do not comply with "services" I do not need and for which I had zero defense.

I was denied reasonable counsel, timely notice to preparation for being pro se, notice and copy of motions and orders, and I did not receive ANY discovery from the state, CPS, or the AG prior to Contested Sheltercare or Fact Finding; evidence was also withheld from which was crucial to my defense, which I discovered later. Every rule of civil procedure was broken and my rights and the rights of my son were violated. I have asked for discovery for MONTHS to no avail and then I asked the Washington State Bar to intervene, to no avail.

Thank you,

Cameo Garrett
